Us
Studio Kaman is a Belgian lifestyle brand founded by artist Kaman Ackerman. The studio works from a belief that art should not be distant or confined to galleries, but integrated into daily life — moving between canvas, clothing and interior.
Every creation begins with an original painting. These artworks are digitised and carefully reinterpreted into fashion pieces and home objects.
Studio Kaman exists in three linked spaces:

Our Founder
Studio Kaman exists from a belief that art should not be distant. Not locked away in white rooms or reserved for special moments.

At Studio Kaman, painting is the starting point — but never the endpoint. Each artwork is an invitation to experience art beyond the canvas: through clothing, objects, and space.

Everything begins with an original painting.
The artwork is then digitised and carefully translated into textiles and objects. This process is never about copying. Instead, each piece is a reinterpretation — a new expression that respects the essence, movement and emotion of the original painting.
No garment or object is an exact replica of a painting. Each piece stands on its own — connected by origin, but free in form.
Her How
Studio Kaman is founded by Kaman Ackerman, a young artist based in Ghent.
Kaman is a self-taught painter, having developed her practice on her own during Covid. With a background in Fashion, her work naturally moves between canvas, clothing and objects — allowing art to take multiple forms without losing its emotional core.
Her work explores the human form in an intuitive, primitive style, focusing on raw emotion and shared human experience.
